School Advisory Board

The School Advisory Board exists to serve the needs of our school community. It is an advisory body, which provides a structure for discussion, policy making, planning formulation and implementation, and financial management regarding our school.

 

St Ita’s School Advisory Board is elected annually and consists of fifteen members comprising the following:

  • Parish Priest

  • School Principal

  • Ten members elected by the parent body

  • One Staff Member nominated by the school staff

  • One Member from the Parent’s Auxiliary

The school advisory board shall consist of three office-bearers and incorporate the following sub-committees:

  • Staff Selection

  • Building and Maintenance

  • Family Support

  • School Promotion

 

The School Advisory Board meets on the second Wednesday evening in each month.
